| Who wears Non Piercing Body Jewelry?
Everyone! * Our jewelry can be worn everyday, by anyone
- try a Clit Caresser at work, no one has to know ;) or a Neck to Nipple
Chain disappearing into your blouse. |
| Can we have sex with our jewelry on?
Most of our jewelry can be worn during sex. The Penis Rings by Ring That Thing can only be worn during sex if you have purchased one sized specifically for wear when you are fully erect. As with anything new, take the time to become familiar & comfortable with how it works & feels and you are sure to enjoy it everytime. From the Arabesque designers: |
| How do I put on my new jewelry?
For full instructions, please see Wearing
Your Jewelry. The easiest, and most fun, way to put on Nipple Rings or Clit Caressers is with the help of a lover, although it can be done by yourself with no problems. Adjust the jewelry before you put it on, then set it against the skin and gently pull, or have your Significant Other gently suck, the nipple or clitoris through the jewelry. Don't worry if you don't get it right the first few times - as with anything new, it sometimes takes a little practice before you find what works best for you. |

How do I order your jewelry? |
|
As you are browsing our products, each page has an order button. Simply the items you want - choosing the style and color you prefer, and add them your cart. When you are done shopping, use our secure checkout system to submit your order. Our system is completely secure - the number goes straight to the banks for authorization, it is not processed by us. Our shopping cart also allows you to pay with your Google Checkout account or through PayPal. If you prefer not to make a purchase on the internet, you can also print and fill out an order form, and fax it to (208) 788-8098. Or mail it to: HVNLY NIGHTS Do NOT send your credit card info to us in an e-mail, or split into several e-mails. If a hacker is going to steal our e-mail, he isn't going to stop with just one, or a few - he will take them all. And if we can piece together your number, so can any hacker. |
|
What is a Card/CVV2 Code, and where do I find it? |
| The Card Code is required to process your credit card on line.
It is a security feature provided by credit card companies to help prevent
fraud and theft. Look on the back of your credit card on the signature strip and you will find a string of numbers printed there. They are your credit card number (or the last few digits of your card number) followed by your Card Code. On American Express cards, the CardCode may be printed on the front of your card, underneath the imprint of your account number. |
Can you please be discrete about the order? |
| While we personally do not think our jewelry, or any sexual subject,
should be an embarassing or uncomfortable matter, we do realize that
society has trained us to be less open about our more personal lives,
and we fully respect your privacy. If someone does notice that you have received some sort of mail order, you can tell your nosy inquisitor that you bought some aromatherapy scents to help you sleep, or you have found a nice place to get lacy pillow cases.

How long does it take to make the jewelry? |
|
Each item is hand craft with the utmost care and precision when you order them to ensure the highest quality possible. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks for your jewelry to be made; for the very busy holiday seasons (ie Christmas & Valentine's Day), it will take a full 3 weeks for your jewelry to be completed. If you need something sooner, please browse our list of In Stock items to see what we have available for immediate shipping. The shipping time depends on the method you have chosen. Standard shipping takes, on average, 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. This is the lowest priority of mailing methods, so during busy seasons it can get held up in customs and take a little longer than 3 weeks for delivery. Expedited shipping take about 7 to 10 days to arrive. With the faster shipping method comes a private customs broker, who ensures faster customs clearance. We have only experienced a couple serious delays with Expedited shipping getting through customs, and those were in the months after 9/11. In Stock items are shipped via Priority Mail from our store in the US, and usually arrive within 2 to 4 days.

|
How early should I order if I need the jewelry for a gift/special event? |
|
We suggest ordering on or before Nov. 12 for standard Christmas orders; on or before Nov. 23 for standard Christmas orders shipped Expedited. This will allow for any delays in customs, or backup in production. We suggest ordering on or before Jan. 1 for standard Valentine's order; on or before Jan. 11 for standard Valentine's orders shipped Expedited. This will allow for any delays in customs, or backup in production. For standard orders placed for other occassions or events, we suggest ordering 6 weeks in advance. Items which have special order designs, or a design you created, typically take an extra 2 weeks. Faster shipping, and Rush Order processing are available, but you need to let us know that you are on a deadline when you place your order, so we can make arangements. We keep some of the most commonly ordered items on hand for immediate shipping. These items are by the same designers and are of the same quality, we just had them made in advance to have on hand. In Stock jewelry can be ordered at any time, and ships via Priority Mail within 48hours of receiving payment (Overnight shipping is available). If you are looking for a last minute gift, or prefer not to wait, you can see a list of the items we have In Stock. It takes 2 to 3 weeks to make an order of jewelry, plus shipping time. If you are pressed for time, e-mail us about adding a Rush to your order. Adding Rush service to your order cuts the design time down to 1 week, however because of time constraints, our jewelers can only accept 2 Rush Orders per week; e-mail us as soon as possible if you need this option. Standard shipping is 2 to 3 weeks, Expedited shipping takes 7-10 days. Most items are coming in from Canada, so while arrival dates are usually pretty reliable, packages sometimes get delayed in customs. If your deadline is non-negotiable, you might want to choose the faster shipping method.

How often do you have sales or promotions/When will you post new specials? |
|
To help promote a new item or design, we may offer a discount for items that include that new feature, although this type of sale is rare compared to how often we bring in new items. |

I purchased a pair of nipple rings, but they are too hard to put on. Do you have string-and-slider type nipple jewelry? |
| As with anything new, the first time you use it may not be the most
exciting. You need to learn what works best for you to make the
experience most enjoyable. Practice putting on your jewelry when
you have time to take it slow. Trying to do it when you are rushed,
or excited, can make it more difficult (that "all thumbs" feeling).
It is best to adjust your jewelry before you put it on. Sterling silver will "spring
back" a little bit when you bend it, so you will actually be squeezing
it a bit tighter than you need as you adjust it. You don't want
to have sensitive skin in the way as you do this.
If you are still having troubles putting on your nipple rings, you may have
nipples that are inverted, flat, or just don't stay erect on their own very
well. Don't worry, this is not at all abnormal.
It may not be the current "fad", but it is certainly not strange -
lots of people, both men and women, have flat or inverted nipples.
As for string-and-slider type (noose-style) nipple jewelry:
no, we do not carry, promote, or suggest wearing this type of
jewelry. We have tested several different brands of nipple jewelry like this,
and quite frankly, we wonder if they are actually intended to be a
torture device. In all of the ones we have tried, the loop does not
maintain it's own tension. It slides open quickly so that it has to put
back on frequently (more frequently than what is fun, it's
actually rather irritating), and if it catches on something, the loop can be
pulled tighter and hurts. In one case, the fine cord actually left a
very small cut on our tester's nipple.

How do I clean my new jewelry? |
|
For full jewelry care instructions and products, see our Care Guide page. To remove regular grime and dirt, use a gentle soap and warm water, especially if you wear it during sex. For a quick clean that gets into all the little crevises, a jewelry bath (liquid cleaner) works well. Make sure you read the instructions so you get one that is safe on all of the components in the piece (some gemstones require special cleaners). For a thorough shine and polish, you will want to use a silver polishing cloth. Be careful not to pull on the chains when you polish by hand, or they may stretch, flatten or break. When using any type of polishing agent, be sure to read all of the directions that come with it. Most polishes and cleaners need to be rinsed off when you are done, so they don't leave a residue on your jewelry that can irritate the skin or become hard and rough.
You can help prevent tarnish by keeping your jewelry in an airtight zip-lock bag or an anti-tarnish jewelry
box or pouch. |

Can I get jewelry made with a stone type/dangle style that is not listed on your site? |
|
We can accomodate requests for pretty much any stone type, crystal color, or shape, in any design you can think up. Please inquire about pricing for special orders, and we'll do everything we can to help you get what you want. Another popular idea is to have items you already own incorporated
into custom jewelry. Heirloom stones or a special item from
a loved one are popular for custom-designed pieces. Earrings are
paired perfectly for Nipple Dangles; pendants work beautifully on chains;
pins & broaches can be modified to be a centerpiece. Check out
some examples
of past customers' special requests. |

Can I get any of the styles in gold? What about gold tone or gold plated? |
|
Most of our designs by Arabesque are now available by special order in 14k and 18k gold. Most items not listed on our Prices page can also be made as a custom order. All of our gold jewelry is pure gold, so while it is more expensive than gold-plated or gold-toned, it is also of a much higher quality. When a product is advertised as "Gold Tone" or "Silver Tone" it means that there is a thin coating of some kind (brass or nickel) over an inexpensive base metal (iron etc.). Adjusting the fit of the jewelry will cause the coating to crack, and flake or wear away. When the base metals are exposed, they can cause reactions on the sensitive skin of intimate areas, even in people who are not usually sensitive to them. "Gold Plated" or "Electroplating" is just that - a thin plating of
real gold over a base metal. Eventually the plating does wear
off, leaving the base metal exposed to cause a reaction. This is a very
unpleasant experience for jewelry worn in intimate areas. |
|
I purchased a piece of jewelry already. Now I would like to purchase another item to match. |
|
There will always be slight variances in the jewelry due to the natural traits of gemstones and handcrafted items. If you want as close to exact matches as possible, we recommend that you have any matching items made at the same time so all the stones can be compared against each other. If the cost of purchasing several items at once is prohibitive for you, or if you get a sudden inspiration after you have received your first pieces, we will certainly make the new item(s) for you, and the they will be a very close match to what you have. Because of the level of quality maintained, you do not have to worry the items looking like they are from different sets. If you had something custom made for you - special stones, unique dangles,
etc - you may want to consider sending in the original piece, or
a very good picture of it, so the closest exact match
can be found. |
|
Do you make piercing jewlery also/Can your jewelry be made for piercings? |
|
We do not carry any type of piercing jewelry at the moment, however many of our Arabesque designs can made with lobster claw clasps or extra large jump rings, so the chains and dangles can be detached and worn on your piercing jewelry. A lot of our jewelry can be worn with your current piercing jewelry.
Also, with a just a little twist from a pair of tweezers or needle-nose pliers, you can fit the dangles from our jewelry onto your own. Just open the connector ring to take the dangle off our jewelry, and slide it onto your body jewelry before putting on your bead. They are little O-rings, so you may need to get larger ones to accomodate larger gauges of body jewelry. **PLEASE NOTE**
When you alter our jewelry, as with any piercing jewelry, please use common sense. If dangles or chains are tugged too hard while you are wearing them with non-piercing rings, they will simply come partially or completely off. If they are tugged too hard while they are attached to a piercing ring, you may bruise or tear the skin. |
