We don't really understand all that legal mumbo-jumbo, so we're just going to give it to straight:

If you run your credit card info through our secure checkout, it is processed directly through the credit card processor. We don't get your credit card number at all, and it isn't sent or stored anywhere for us to look it up. What we do get is a confirmation that your card has cleared (like when you run your card through the credit card machine at the grocery store).
If you call us or fax us and give us your credit card to be processed, we only run the credit card for that one related order. It will never be used again, and we will not let anyone else use it.

When we receive your address, phone number, and email address, we use it only for your order. This information is stored with your order, and is not used for any other purpose. We do not send out advertisements or 'newsletters', and we do not give your information to anyone else.

Generally, all customer order jewelry is sent to us and we send the appropriate items to you, the customer. However, on rare occassion it is necessary to have the jewelers send your order directly to you to make sure you receive it on time (this method costs us a lot more, so to help keep our prices down, we try not to do it). If we need to have an item drop shipped, we will give your address to the jeweler who is making your order for shipping purposes only. Our jewelers' policies are as strict as our own, and will not use your information any reason other than to make sure you get your order on time

All of our jewelry is hand-made by wonderful, hard-working people, and the items by Arabesque are shipped from Canada. Please keep in mind that these uniquely crafted items take 2-3 weeks to be made before they can be shipped, and that cross-border shipping can sometimes get delayed at customs. It is a good idea to plan ahead and order early for special events and gift-giving occassions to avoid a disappointment.

For those people who prefer to receive their order faster, or who may have already waited a little too long to get a gift, please look through our selection of in-stock jewelry . These items have the same high-quality workmanship and materials as custom-made items, but we have already ordered and received them, so they are available for immediate shipping.

International Shipping

We do not mind shipping to our international customers, however there are extra precautions and expenses that result.

Due to the difficulty in verifying international information, our instances of international fraud & scams are increasing at an alarming rate. Please do not be offended if we ask for a photocopy or picture of your credit card if you are placing an order from, or to be shipped to, someplace outside the US. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but this extra security measure will help protect victims of stolen credit cards and identity theft.

Orders must be paid for in US dollars. It is easiest for us to charge your credid card for the US dollar amount, and your bank will take the converted amount from your account. You can use XE.com Personal Currency Assistant to get an estimated conversion to your currency.
Please be aware of the shipping restrictions to your country:

What are the customs & import duties/fees/taxes? The recipient is responsible for these.
Can the items in your order be shipped to your country? What are the quantity restriction? i.e. some countries limit the value or amount of precious metals that can be imported.
Are there any special instructions, forms, or restrictions for shipments to your country? We will need to know about them before your order is sent to the Post Office.
